Can I come in person?

We’d love to see you in the studio, but please try to book ahead.

 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. No special kit needed.

 

I'm a complete beginner, which is the right class?

Have a look on our schedule and if the description says ‘suitable for all levels’ you can just book and attend. Please feel free to contact the teacher before you attend if there’s anything at all you’d like to discuss with them before attending. Then they can ensure you get the appropriate instructions and enjoy your first class. If you have any health issues, it is helpful to discuss with the teacher in advance.

 

What if I have an injury?

If you have an injury, health concern or back problems, yoga and Pilates can help but please do talk to the teacher before you get started.

 

Can I come if I'm pregnant?

There are specialist prenatal yoga and Pilates class available with Claire Robertson. We believe that it’s best to attend specialist classes where possible but if you’re more experienced and would like to come to one of our general classes, see here for a list of suitable classes. Our teachers are highly experienced and qualified in this field and should be able to help you with questions and enquiries. 

 

Yoga or Pilates?

Yoga and Pilates classes develop strength, flexibility, stamina, better posture, plus increased energy and improved wellbeing. Our class guide can help you decide which to try. You can try a single class where space is available so that you can try it out and see what you enjoy.

 

How do I pay?

Payment is made through our online booking system. We don’t have a card payment facilities onsite but it’s possible to pay cash at the studio (please bring the right amount) or use our online link for drop in.

 

What if I can’t make my booking?

If you have booked a class and are unable to attend, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24hrs before the class. Alternatively, you can transfer to another class of the same or lower value up to 12hrs before the class. Please login through Bookwhen to see your existing class information and to amend booking.

 

Do I need a mat? 

Our studio is fully equipped and have mats and other props you’re welcome to use. Please help us by cleaning them after class. We have sprays and cloths in the studio.

If you’re joining us online, remember you can always create your own substitute props. For example, you can use a scarf instead of a yoga strap and small towel for eye pillow.

 

Personal belongings

Please minimise the amount of belongings you bring to the space. Please turn off all phones (no sound and not on vibrate). Any belongings left in the foyer are left at your own risk. If you do leave anything at the studio, please let us know within a month so that we can hold on to it for you. We donate unclaimed items to charity each month. 

 

Where can I park my car?

Park Row is next door to the Trenchard Street Car Park and parking fee is reasonable. Park on or near level 8 and then the car park exit leaves you almost outside our front door.

 

Where can I park my bike?

There is bike parking on the railings just down from the entrance by the pedestrian crossing.

How do I purchase a gift voucher?

Our gift voucher can be purchased via our booking system and full details can be found here.
