Online Class Guidelines
Step by step
1) Book into a class through our booking system.
2) You will be sent a link once you’ve made the booking. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive the link.
3) Download and install Zoom “Client for Meetings” in advance. You just need a free account to be able to access the class.
4) Set up a home practice space somewhere warm and quiet, if possible where you'll be undisturbed. Arrange your computer, tablet or smartphone so you can see the screen.
5) 5 minutes before the class, please click on the link you've been sent to join.
6) Enjoy your practice.
We look forward to seeing you online!
If you have booked a class and are unable to attend, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24hrs before the class. Alternatively, you can transfer to another class of the same or lower value up to 12hrs before the class.
Technical Information
You’ll need a laptop, computer, tablet or smart phone to join this online class.
We recommend downloading Zoom “Client for Meetings” in advance instead of opening in browser.
For your first class, visit the link 10 minutes ahead of time if possible.
Check your spam folder if you don't receive the link.
When you join, you can choose to have your video switched on or off. We'd prefer it switched on so we can see you and support your practice, but you are equally welcome to have it turned off if you prefer. If your video is switched on, everyone will be able to see you (in a very small thumbnail video).
Once you arrive in the virtual class, make sure the teacher is the main view and not a grid view of all the attendees. If it isn't by default: select the virtual class and click on the three dots to 'pin' the teacher and make them full screen.
If you want to speak to the teacher, there is an option to 'raise your hand' next to your profile which we will see, and we can unmute you. Or you can unmute yourself and simply ask. We can also talk via chat too.
You can unmute yourself at the end of the class to say goodbye.
Tips
Set up your computer, phone or tablet so you can view it easily with sound turned up.
Prepare a quiet space with a yoga mat, carpet or a large towel.
Use cushion or yoga blocks for seated poses and a blanket for full relaxation.
You can have your camera turned off if you'd rather not be visible to anyone.
We suggest turning off your phone.
Please listen to your body and don’t push yourself beyond your limit.
You are welcome to get in touch with the teacher before or after the class with questions or to discuss your practice.
If you have particular health issues or injuries, please feel free to get in touch with the teacher in advance.
Most importantly - enjoy your practice.
