Outside Yoga

We have a new yoga class starting on Thursday 20th May from 6:30 - 7:30pm at the Civil Service Sports Club on Filton Avenue. This class is taught by Naomi every week, suitable for all levels of students including beginners.

It has a large flat private lawn which we will be using when the weather is fine. There is a spacious room for us to practice if the sun doesn’t shine. There are lots of car parking spaces and bike stands available at the venue. It also has a bus stop very close and those pink scooters are always around too.

Please book in advance as there are only 8 spaces available.

BYC Studio Re-opening on 17th May!

We’re so pleased to announce that our studio is re-opening for in person and online classes again from Monday 17th May. We cannot wait to welcome you back!

New Yoga Classes

We have two new yoga classes starting in April. Both classes are suitable for all levels of students including beginners.

  • Tuesday 18:00- 19:00pm Hatha Yoga with Sarah Warde (from 20th April)

  • Saturday 09:30 - 10:30am Flow Yoga with Kate Lemon (from 24th April)

Please book through our booking system if you like to come along. W’re currently offering 50% off an online class. Please use the discount code ‘SPRING50’ at checkout. This promotion is valid for a single use per booker until the end of April.

All our classes are currently running online but we should be able to re-open our doors again from 17th May! Fingers and toes crossed :)

Classes for Everyone

Classes for Everyone at the Bristol Yoga Centre

Our aim is to bring the mental and health benefits of Yoga, Pilates and Mindfulness Meditation to widest range of people.

We welcome all levels of fitness and abilities, as well as different body size and shape - You don’t necessarily have to be young, fit or flexible to join our classes!

In fact, many of our teachers and regular students are not your usual athletic types and we have broad range of abilities and age groups coming along.

The owner of Bristol Yoga Centre, Naomi says that she ‘believes it’s really important that the class is open to everyone and not just the selected few. Yoga is more about connection and a feeling of wholeness, than achieving certain poses - it should be inclusive and welcoming for everybody’.

Our classes are open to all levels of students including beginners. We recognise that everyone was once a beginner and if you enjoy the practice, you’ll naturally begin to feel the difference sooner. To help, we’ve ensured that our class sizes are smaller so that you can receive more personal attention.

If you have injuries, medical issues or disabilities, please get in touch with the teacher before the class. Our teachers are friendly and highly experienced and they should be able to give you further advice. We also have specialist classes such as therapeutic and gentle yoga as well as mindfulness meditation that you might want to try. 

To make our classes more accessible, we offer concessions, community classes and have affordable payment options.  If you’re struggling financially please get in touch and we will be able to offer further discounts or free classes.

We offer quality Pilates classes at the Bristol Yoga Centre. Pilates is a great way to keep the body strong and flexible. Our teachers are fully qualified teachers and have extensive experience in teaching. Here are our Pilates classes:

  • Tuesday 18:00 - 19:00pm Pilates with Ajia

  • Wednesday 17:00 - 18:00pm Pilates with Shauni

There are also Yoga/Pilates classes and prenatal class available :

  • Monday 07:45 - 08:45am Yoga/Pilates with Claire

Happy New Year 2020

Thanks to all of you who’ve supported our studio through this challenging year by continuing to attend our classes and to those of you who have sent in kind and thoughtful emails. It means a huge amount to us all.


We're restarting our online classes from Sunday 3rd January with lzzy’s Yin and Yoga yoga class at 17:30 - 18:30pm. We’ve made some changes to our timetable and Ajia is starting a new Pilates class on Tuesday evening from 18:00 - 19:00pm. Unfortunately, we can't re-open our studio yet but we'll let you know soon as we can. Please sign up to our newsletter if you like to be kept informed of any news.

Christmas and New Year Break

We’re closing over the Christmas and New Year to give our lovely teacher some well deserved break . Most of our classes will end on 20th December and restart from 3rd January 2021. Please see our schedule for more details.

New Express Lunchtime class

Ajia and Shauni are offering express lunchtime yoga and pilates class at the Bristol Yoga Centre

We’re introducing a shorter 45 minutes yoga online class from next week! Ideal for people who want to fit in some practice during their lunchtime break.

Come along for an energising session to set you up for the rest of the day! Please book via our online booking system. You can purchase single class or purchase 5 or 10 class pass which are valid for 2 months. Available also on MoveGB!

Beginners Yoga and Pilates Class

Beginners yoga at the Bristol Yoga Centre.

All our classes at the Bristol Yoga Centre are suitable for beginners and our teachers are very experienced at accommodating all levels of students. Our classes are small so that teachers can give you more help and attention. You’re welcome to come and try any of the styles.

Some of our classes are generally more dynamic like Ashtanga Yoga and others like therapeutic yoga is gentler form of practice. Yoga and Hatha yoga tends to be some where in the middle but rest be assured that you’ll be given modifications and alternative postures for more challenging sequences or postures.

If you’re a complete new to yoga or pilates, you may want to let your teacher know so that they can give you helpful tips and advice. Feel free to contact them when you’re booking. You can also check our frequently asked question before coming along.
